About Noah
Guide. Educator. Climber. Maine local.
I’m Noah Kleiner — a climber, guide, and educator based in Maine.
My work centers around creating thoughtful, personalized climbing experiences that combine technical instruction, movement, and exploration in some of the Northeast’s most unique terrain.
I guide rock climbing, ice climbing, and alpine objectives throughout coastal and western Maine, including Camden, Acadia, and Katahdin. Every trip is personally led by me and designed around the goals, experience, and pace of each individual client.
Over the years, I’ve spent extensive time developing and exploring climbing throughout Maine, contributing to local climbing knowledge, route development, and guidebook work in the Camden Hills and surrounding areas.
My approach to guiding emphasizes calm decision-making, technical systems, risk management, and creating an environment where climbers can build both confidence and judgment in the mountains.
Whether you’re looking for your first day climbing outside, advanced movement coaching, private instruction, or a long day on granite or ice, the goal is always the same: a meaningful experience in the mountains done well.

Philosophy
I believe good guiding is about far more than reaching the top of a climb.
The best climbing days combine movement, learning, environment, weather, challenge, and partnership into something memorable long after the ropes are packed away.
Maine offers an incredible landscape for that experience — coastal granite, winter ice, mountain terrain, and quiet spaces that still feel wild.
My goal is to help people experience those places thoughtfully and confidently.
